There are many aftermarket manufacturers building products for the new BMW M3. One of them that stands out in the wheels industry is HRE Performance Wheels who’s long standing work in both street and racing wheel applications have given them a great reputation.
This time, they’ve worked with Wheel Enhancement from Los Angeles to equip an Alpine White BMW M3 with a set of custom forged wheels. While the setup shown here isn’t as radical as we’ve used to seeing lately, the combination of lightweight wheels, enhanced looks and a somewhat more daily driving-friendly tire setup provides a welcome change of pace. These wheels come in sizes of 20×9 in the front and 20×10 in the rear – weighing in at only 23.2lbs and 24.6 front and rear, respectively.
Furthermore, the owner of this car used a carbon fiber splitter, rear diffuser and trunk lid to enhance the sportiness of the M3. The carbon ceramic brakes with yellow calipers round off the aftermarket build.
The BMW M3 comes with a 3.0 liter BMW TwinPower Turbo engine, delivering 425 horsepower and an acceleration from 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in just 3.8 seconds. With these HRE Wheels, the car now comes with an improved stance as well. Please take a look at the media gallery right below for further images.
